sistema nervioso,
enzima de la comunicación,
portador de la verdad codificada
y de la mentira también.

Fuente de vicio y de virtud,
hogar del ansioso y del ambicioso.

Tú me das confianza,
tú me dejas ser.

*Sistema nervioso central

---

Did Nietzsche read the Bhagavad-Gita?

Probably not. Like the most of us. The philosphy that has made our world is European philosophy. We almost don't know anything about Asian philosophy and there is a lot to learn here.

Nietzsche talks about the Super Ego and about the growth of human posibilities and that's awesome. Unfortunately, he didn't have good experiences with religion and said God was dead.

But what kind of god was Nietzsche talking about? He didn't really understood what God is. Not a lot of people knows what God is.

Bhagavad-Gita is not talking about dogmatism. Every religion is accepted if you understand the meaning of what God is.

"Religion without philosophy is sentimentalism or sometimes fanatism, but philosophy without religion is mental speculation. Last goal is Krsna, because even philosophers who look for the Absolute Truth, finally arrives to Krsna Consciusness." Baghavad-Gita as It Is, chapter 3, Karma-yoga. pg. 57)

THE FLIGHT OF THE FALCON

(Story from a collegue from Guadalajara, Jalisco, México)

The king received as a gift two small falcons, and he gave them to the master of falconry so that he could train them. Some months went by, the master informed the king that one of the falcons was perfectly well, but that the other, he didn't know what was wrong with it: it hadn't moved from the branch where he had left it since the day that it arrived. The king asked to see the shamans and the healers so that they could come see the falcon, but nobody could make the bird fly. He asked then, for the sages in his court, but nothing happened. The following day, looking out the window, he could observe that the bird still remained motionless. He therefore decided to let the town know that he would grant a reward to the one who would make the falcon fly. The next day, he saw the falcon flying swiftly in the gardens. He asked his court, "Bring me the author o f this miracle." Without a moments hesitation they introduced to him a peasant.
- Are you the one who made the falcon fly? How did you do it? Are you a magician?
- It was easy my king. I just cut the branch and it flew. It found out that it had wings and he began flying.
What are you hanging on to that is stopping you from flying? What can you not let go of? We live within a comfort where we move and we believe that it is the only thing that exists. Within this zone is everything that we know and everything that we believe. We get along with our values, our fears and our limitations. Our past and our history lies in this zone. Everything that we know, routine and easy... We have dreams, we want results, we seek opportunities, but we are not always ready to run risks. We are not always willing to go through difficult paths.
Stop holding on to your own branch and run the risk of flying higher and maybe in your life like in mine, Spirit has given us wings to fly high, as high as the eagles and discover that its thoughts -as its ways- are higher than ours. Dare to fly...!

YOU'RE THE RESULT OF YOURSELF

"Don't blame anyone, never complain of anyone or anything. Because basically you have made of your life what you wanted. Accept the difficulties of edifying yourself and the worth of starting to correct your character.

The triumph of the true man arises from the ashes of his mistakes.

Never complain of your loneliness or your luck. Face it with courage and accept it. Somehow, they are the result of your acts and it shows that you'll always win. Don't feel frustrated of your own failures, neither unload them to someone else.

Accept yourself now or you'll go on justifying yourself like a child.

Remember that any time is good to start and that no time is so good to give up. Don't forget that the cause of your present is your past, as the cause of your future will be your present.

Learn from the brave, from the strong, from who doesn't accept situations, from who will live in spite of everything. Think less of your problems and more of your work. Learn to arise from your pain, and to be greater than the greatest of your obstacles. Look at the mirror of yourself and you'll be free and strong and you'll stop being a puppet of circumstances. For you yourself are your destiny. Wake up and stare at the sun in the mornings and breathe the sun of dawn. You're part of the strength of your life now, Rise up, fight, walk, be sure and you'll win in life. Don't ever think of 'fate' For fate is the excuse of failures."

Pablo Neruda
